Fun Kids Workout to do at home on snow days!

Snowed in? Have some fun with this kids workout and create memories while you workout!

We are going on snow day #4 and everyone is feeling a bit couped up! We’ve played outside as long as our fingers and toes could stand the cold, but you know kids…. they seem to have endless amounts of energy on tap!

This week’s workout is one you can do at home with the kids! Any age will work. For the younger ones, maybe only do this workout once (it’s about 5 minutes long). For the older ones you can repeat once or twice and before you know you, you’re creating memories to last a lifetime AND everyone is joining in and being active and healthy.

All you need is a wall, so get in some comfy clothes and hit play!

  • 10 Jumping Jacks
  • 10 Squats
  • 10 Arm Circles, front & back
  • Run in Place
  • 5 Burpees
  • Tree Pose, each side
  • Side Lunges
  • 5 Pushups
  • Wall Sit
  • Curl-ups
  • Forearm Plank
  • Cobra to Downward Facing Dog to Child’s Pose
  • Butterfly, Pike and Cross-legged Stretch

Have some fun stretch and cooling down too: 7 essential stretches cool down stretches.

This is the perfect kids workout when you're snowed in! Great for all ages and you can do it at home! My 7 year old loved it!
