The Green Monster Smoothie

THE GREEN MONSTER

Prep-5 min. - Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups kale, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 green apple, halved, cored, and cubed
  • 1 3″ piece of ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

Place kale in blender with water and pulse until kale is chopped fine.  Add parsley, apple, ginger, honey, and ice and blend until smooth.

BANANABERRY

Bananaberry Smoothie

Prep-5 min. - Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1.5 cups OJ
  • 2 bananas, peeled & frozen
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries & raspberries
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

Pulse oats in blender until ground smooth.  Add in juice, fruit, honey, and ice and blend until smooth.
